On the road, but tired of hotels? Essex House offers you a refreshing alternative in Business Travel accommodations. Keyless entry to the house provides convenience for our guests. Come and go as you please on your schedule. Make yourself at home in the living room, exclusive for guest's use. Catch up on the news, watch a movie, relax with a book, or if you must, get some work finished (wireless internet available throughout the house).

A carafe of fresh filtered water and chocolates will be at your room door every night. A full breakfast will be prepared for you in the morning.

Essex House is conveniently located in the heritage district of Cobourg, within walking distance of the train station, the downtown shopping district, Victoria Hall, the marina, and the beautiful Victoria Park beach. A stroll down King Street provides a shopping and a dining adventure. Delight in a stroll down College Street with examples of the finest historical architecture in the area. Or enjoy a stroll down the walking trail which stretches from the east end of Victoria Park beach to the western limits of Cobourg. See “Info” for endless options to choose from.

With five tastefully appointed, spacious guest rooms, featuring private ensuite baths for each room, Essex House has enough space to accommodate a group of business associates or a reunion of family or friends. Three rooms offer queen size beds. One room offers a queen and a twin, and Jane's room offers a twin bed only, and houses a treadmill to help with your exercise needs.

Make yourself comfortable in the living room while you complete the review of the day.
